XCIPTV setup guide: from login email to live TV
Short answer
Open XCIPTV, choose the Xtream Codes login, enter the server URL, username and password from your XCIPTV IPTV email, and sign in. Live TV, the guide and the movie library load on their own. The whole setup takes about five minutes.
Set up XCIPTV in five steps
Install XCIPTV
From the official app store on your device (see where to get XCIPTV safely).
Open XCIPTV and choose Xtream Codes
On the first screen pick the Xtream Codes (XC) login. Some versions also offer M3U; Xtream Codes is better.
Enter the server URL
Exactly as in your email, including http:// and the port, for example http://server:8080.
Enter username and password
Copy them from the email; they are case-sensitive.
Sign in and let it load
XCIPTV downloads live categories, the TV guide, movies and series. The first load takes about a minute.

Best XCIPTV settings after the first login
- Player: XCIPTV lets you choose between its built-in players. If a channel stutters, switch to the other one in the player settings and compare.
- TV guide: refresh the EPG once after signing in, then let XCIPTV update it daily.
- Favorites: long-press the channels you watch most and add them to favorites for a short personal list.
- Parental lock: set a PIN for adult or late-night categories if children use the TV.
Setting names can move slightly between XCIPTV versions; look in the same menu group if you cannot find one.
