XCIPTV guide
XCIPTV on Samsung and LG TVs: your options
Short answer
XCIPTV is an Android app, so it is not in the Samsung (Tizen) or LG (webOS) app stores. You still have two easy options: plug a Fire TV Stick or Google TV streamer into the TV and use XCIPTV there, or install an Xtream Codes player from the TV store and use the same login.
The two options compared
| Option | Cost | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Fire TV Stick or Google TV streamer + XCIPTV | A one-off device purchase | You want the real XCIPTV app and its guide layout |
| A player from the Samsung or LG store | Free or a small app fee | You want no extra box at all |
Option 1: add a stick and use XCIPTV
Plug the stick into a free HDMI port, connect it to Wi-Fi and follow XCIPTV on Firestick or XCIPTV on Google TV. You get the full XCIPTV experience on the big screen, and the TV remote controls it through HDMI.
Option 2: a player from the TV store
Open your TV's app store and look for an IPTV player that supports Xtream Codes. Choose one with recent updates and good reviews, then sign in with the same server URL, username and password from your XCIPTV IPTV email. Channels, guide and movies are the same; only the player looks different.
Which should you choose?
If you watch every day, a stick is worth it: faster menus, the XCIPTV guide and easy updates. If the TV is only used now and then, a TV-store player is enough. Either way, test it first with the free 24-hour trial.
Questions people ask
Can I install the XCIPTV APK on a Samsung TV?
No. Samsung and LG TVs do not run Android apps, so APK files cannot be installed on them.
Does my XCIPTV IPTV login work in other players?
Yes. It is a standard Xtream Codes login, so any player that supports Xtream Codes can use it.
What about Apple TV?
XCIPTV is not on Apple TV either. Use an App Store player that supports Xtream Codes with the same login.
